City Comix Mailbag

Thanks to all the folks who send their feedback!

It was a really great read, and brought back memories of irresponsible roomates -- Ah yes, the days of living in a house with a bunch of other guys (why don't I miss them!). The artwork was nice too; excellent for a minicomic. I also went to your website and thought you did some excellent oil paintings.

Just read your new comic. Very cool!
I thought the story-telling flow was nice. I got really annoyed with that Carter guy while reading it too. I also liked your short comix on your site. Good work!

You got some nerve calling it ‘City Comix’ with a suburban tale of cars,
basements, and bands who practice at home with a drum kit! Lookin’ forward to the next one!

I really liked it a lot, just like your old stuff, but tighter
with the storytelling. Lots of fun to read.

I think it reads well, with good dialogue and art reminiscent of the underground era.
The story has some good sharp emotions, and as a biographical comic, it works.

Funny, kinda weird, cool lady was sitting next to us while I was reading Luke the comic. At the end she asked, what WAS that? It sounded so cool! So I showed her & gave her website address. So you're a star. I really liked it by the way. Your tone reminds me a little of some of the stories in the "LIVES" section, back of Sunday Times mag.
